Join the Norwin Penn Trafford Area Democrats the first Saturday of each month (10:00–11:30 AM)for a relaxed, monthly playground get-together — a chance to connect with neighbors, let the kids play, and enjoy a friendly morning outdoors.
This family-friendly gathering occurs only during the warm weather season.

Exhibition- Maryam Safajoo: Our Story Is One
Persian American artist Maryam Safajoo is a visual ethnographer and narrative painter based in Morgantown, West Virginia. Recently awarded a 2025 Guggenheim Fellowship in Fine Arts, her work preserves and shares the experiences of members of the Iranian Bahá’í community, a religious group that has been systematically persecuted since the 1979 revolution. The individual stories she shares, including those of her family members, are meticulously depicted based on conversations, interviews, and archival research. Safajoo finds purpose as an artist in sharing these stories of resilience in the hopes that one day the world will be free from prejudice.
PFLAG Greensburg Monthly Meeting and Support Session
This incredibly supportive and compassionate group, comprised enitrely of volunteers, PFLAG Greensburg meets the third Sunday of the month, from 2-4pm.
No matter where you are on your journey — whether you’re LGBTQIA+, a family member, a friend, or an ally — you are welcome.
PFLAG Greensburg provides a safe, caring space to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who believe in equality, understanding, and love.
Meetings are open to everyone — you do not need to be a member to attend.

The NAACP Greensburg–Jeannette Branch meets monthly on the third Monday, from 6-7 pm to advance the work of equity, justice, and community empowerment in Westmoreland County.
These gatherings bring together residents, advocates, and allies to share updates, learn about local issues, and organize for meaningful change.

Greater Westmoreland Central Labor Council
The Greater Westmoreland County Labor Council (GWCLC) meets monthly on the 3rd Monday, to bring together local unions, advocates, and community allies to strengthen worker rights and economic justice across the region.
Monthly meetings provide space to discuss workplace issues, share resources, and coordinate action that supports fair wages, safe jobs, and strong communities.

Kiski Valley Dems Monthly Meeting
The Kiski Valley Democrats meet monthly, usually on the second or third Wednesday of the month at Allusion Brewery in Vandergrift, Valley Dairy in Leechburg, or other locations throughout our area for socializing at 6:00 pm followed by a meeting at 7:00 pm.
Each meeting offers space for discussion, organizing, and fellowship among those working to strengthen democracy in the Kiski Valley and beyond.

Food from the Heart is a weekly community outreach program provided by the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greensburg.
Every week, these inclusive community focused local neighbors provide a FREE hot lunch for members of the community
and all are welcome!
