Grassroots Westmoreland believes LGBTQ+ neighbors deserve dignity, safety, respect, and belonging in every part of community life.
This work is rooted in care, access, visibility, mutual support, and the belief that people should not have to hide who they are in order to receive help, participate, or be treated as neighbors.
People are not problems to be managed. People are neighbors.

Belonging means more than being tolerated.
It means people are treated with respect, names and pronouns are honored, privacy is protected, access needs are taken seriously, and community care does not depend on someone hiding part of who they are.
